Change to Cameroon ECTN Process (Effective May 2025)

Just a quick update regarding Cameroon ECTNs for RORO vehicles – starting 1st May 2025, you’ll need to provide either:

• A FIMEX registration proof, or
• A valid Special Import Authorisation

This is in addition to the standard documents.
You can still start the ECTN request as usual at the port of loading, but the final authenticated ECTN will only be issued after this new requirement is met.

If you’re not registered or don’t have authorisation yet, you can still receive a draft ECTN—just make sure to complete the requirement in time.
